How do I process my Shopify Orders in the Kin Custom app?

Please see the below tips to ensure orders import automatically into the Kin Custom Shopify app.

IMPORTANT! Please complete ALL fields in the contact information and shipping fields, including phone number in each field as phone numbers are required by the carrier. Customer information is not automatically added to shipping, or vice versa. Fields left blank will result in error messages. Since your customers orders automatically imports, marking manually as 'fulfilled' interferes with the API between your Shopify store and our Kin Custom app. Therefore, your order will not be recognized when you submit for fulfillment.

 

Orders in Shopify will automatically import to Kin Custom long as the order has all the necessary information! 

  • Ensure all information is included in your order, specifically a shipping phone number. This is required by the carriers for shipping the order. 
  • Leave orders in an unfulfilled status. Do not manually mark the order as fulfilled. 

 

To View and Pay for your Orders in the Kin Custom App

Once you receive your order in Shopify, go to the Kin Custom App.

  • Click "Orders" and you order will be available!
  • We are not paid by Shopify on your behalf when a customer purchases from your Shopify store.
  • Proceed to checkout and pay for your order in the Kin Custom app, so we can fulfill and ship the order to your customer. 
  • Once an order has been successfully submitted to us, you'll receive your order confirmation email with a specific Kin Custom order number. 

 

 

As your print & dropship provider, we send communication to you directly. You will be responsible for sending your customers their tracking information and order confirmation. If you choose to use our custom branding sets, your logo will be on the packing slip, apparel labels, poly bags, and more. 

Order Tracking

Once the order is fulfilled, you may find the tracking number in your Shopify orders. Please note, production averages 3 business day delivery and tracking may take up to 48 hours after an order has shipped. If you have not received a tracking number within this time frame, please contact our Customer Experience at info@kincustom.com. **Excludes Home Goods, we average a 10 business day production.
